Inspiration Engines

So I'm experiencing the mind / body connection in a new way. When I am using my whole body in an activity, I get ideas. Really good ones.


I was told by a friend that walking is one of the best creative activities you can do. it involves both the left and right sides of your body equally and that means that both the left and right sides of your brain are working and cooperating to make you walk.


Here's the nifty bit, that means that both the left and right sides of your brain are working and cooperating. That is where creativity gets a bump. I have experienced it again and again and I am starting to use taking a walk around the block (without ear buds blaring) as a way to shake off writer's block. I seem to always come back with an idea or two and usually have time to test and refine a bit before I go to work.
